Name change in Hungary after joint venture takeover

Since June 1, 2024, the former company Liegl & DACHSER continues its logistics activities under the name DACHSER Hungary comprising the business fields Air & Sea Logistics and Road Logistics with its business lines European Logistics and Food Logistics. Burkhard Eling takes up role of CEO at DACHSER

On January 1, Burkhard Eling became Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Spokesperson of the Executive Board of logistics provider DACHSER. He heads the Corporate Strategy, Human Resources, Marketing executive unit, which also includes Corporate Key Account Management and the Corporate Governance & Compliance division. Eling succeeds Bernhard Simon, who will take over as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the family-owned company in mid-2021.

DACHSER Life Science and Healthcare receives GDP certification

The logistics provider has undergone good distribution practice (GDP) audits at its sites in Frankfurt, Madrid, Barcelona, and Mumbai, as well as at the Head Office in Kempten. An independent institute certified that DACHSER complies with the specifications relating to safe and secure transport chains in the pharmaceutical sector.
